SG: DO ACTS OF KINDNESS REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE ON A LARGER SCALE?

KP: Kindness is a vibration that becomes larger by the more energy we give to that feeling. In this world, 6.5 billion people place thoughts - energy into different feelings or vibrations. I believe the more we can become the vibration of kindness, the more change we may feel within ourselves. The power of kindness has no place for judgment.

SG: WHAT IS THE GREATEST ACT OF KINDNESS THAT ONE CAN DO FOR ANOTHER?

KP: The most powerful kindness is the empowerment of hope for our self and for another. There is nothing worse than feeling hopeless or helpless, trapped or stuck. If we can give others a feeling of hope, it opens them to new possibilities and then to an awareness of their choices. With choice there is a feeling of freedom. With that feeling comes joy and the potential of hope that their own desires can be physically manifested in their world.

SG: IN YOUR WORK YOU STRESS THAT THE PURPOSE OF LIFE IS TO LEARN COMPASSION. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THIS AND HOW IN FACT DO WE LEARN COMPASSION?

KP: I believe we are here to learn and master all of the conditions that we have placed on Love. When we are able to feel and have unconditional love for ourselves, we can then have true non-judgment and compassion for others. Many of us have had difficulty in the past with the concept of feeling and sustaining unconditional love for everyone, everywhere. Perhaps all we originally intended and committed to learning and expressing were different facets of unconditional love for ourselves. Self-acceptance without judgment allows us to experience unconditional compassion for everyone else. It is this quality of compassion which is most desirable for it allows us to express an evenly balanced sense of emotions. Self love allows and creates peace of mind. True serenity, which is an expression of compassion, is the absolute allowance of all, without judgment. Unconditional compassion reflects a knowingness that everything is equal. In order to learn to meet other people exactly where they are and accept their own creations, there has to be a complete absence of judgment and a complete presence of ultimate compassion. If we learn to integrate and express the quality of compassion in our interactions with others, all intolerance and prejudice will dissolve. Intolerance exists only because we have forgotten that every individual is an aspect of the Infinite. Compassion is the closest vibration for a human to God or Source.

SG: WHAT IS THE NATURE OF THE SOUL AND WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT TO FEEL OUR SOULS?

KP: Until we reach the level of having unconditional love for ourselves and unconditional compassion for all creation, I do not believe we can completely merge with our soul - or our true Higher Self. The soul is our pure human form of God/Source manifested physical. As we evolve, we become one with our soul - the gateway to our Higher Self.

SG: WHAT IS LOVE AND HOW DOES IT RELATE TO SPIRITUALITY?

KP: I believe love is one of the most complex of words. We only know how to love based upon the way we have experienced love for ourselves. The best and most helpful state of being (for ourselves and others) is to be unconditional with ourselves. Have unconditional love for yourself — every aspect, whether you are tall, fat, big or small. In a very short amount of time, you will find people start treating you very differently. You actually become unconditional love. You will be it. No longer is it a matter of what you say. It is a matter of being what you are, walking your talk. Again, as you become more and more unconditional with yourself, the balance of your beingness radiates (not projects) out through the compassion you have become.

The key to balanced creation lies in the lessons we have come here to master. One of the most universal reasons many of us seem to be here at this time is to learn and master all the conditions that make up unconditional love. Perhaps the only task we all have is to learn unconditional love and full acceptance of self.

* In true unconditional love of self, there is no separation or differentiation in terms of worth or importance.
* Unconditional love and acceptance have no concept of individual importance.
* Unconditional love of ourselves is to our own personal benefit, for it gives us accessibility to everything in the universe.
* Unconditional love of self is not something to practice, it is something to be lived.
* Unconditional love is a state to be maintained within our own beingness.
* Unconditional love is learning to live in personal integrity and impeccability, in all areas of our life.
* In order to truly have "it," we have to become "it." The willingness to trust, by loving ourselves, without conditions, is how we open up to the most our universe has to offer.
* Loving ourselves without conditions, allows us to perceive any aspect of life we desire.
