| Dedication This book is dedicated to the memory of my friends, Chira G. "Sweet Medicine" Morgan and Jimmie Reyna. Chira was a good and trusted friend and a teacher of teachers. She gave me my Native American spiritual name, "Lightning Pole Star Warrior." Jimmie was from the Taos Pueblo in Taos, New Mexico. He was wise and fun. We joined together in a great adventure that helped heal the pain between our people. I dearly miss Chira and Jimmie. May the simple words of this book honor them both.
